Terms of use

GeoLooker is provided by its operator, who can be reached through the contact details below. By creating an account, hosting or joining a room, or publishing content, you agree to these terms.

Use GeoLooker lawfully and respectfully. Do not try to gain unauthorized access, disrupt games, scrape or send abusive automated traffic, impersonate others, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or use location content to harass, surveil, or endanger people. Keep account and room credentials secure, and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must provide accurate account information and have permission to use the email address or Google account you connect. Guests remain responsible for their display name and conduct. You must be at least 16, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian if local law allows use at a younger age. GeoLooker may limit or disable access when reasonably needed to protect people, content, or the service.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the operator a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate and promote the hunt you chose to publish. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and attribution information. You can unpublish or archive content, subject to copies retained for active games, security, backups, or legal duties.

Hunts are for discovery, not an instruction to trespass or enter unsafe areas. Follow local rules, respect private property, stay aware of traffic and surroundings, and do not rely on GeoLooker for navigation, emergencies, or safety-critical decisions.

GeoLooker may change, pause, or contain errors, and game results can be affected by networks, devices, maps, or third-party services. Pinpoint requires Google Maps and cannot be played if that service or the configured API key is unavailable; Street View and Google sign-in remain optional. Use of Google services is subject to the then-current Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. To the extent permitted by applicable law, GeoLooker is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or perfect location accuracy.

If you see content you believe is illegal or breaks these terms, report it as described on the Contact page. We review reports and may remove content, remove players from rooms, or restrict accounts.

Hunts marked “Coming soon” cannot yet be purchased or played. Any price and purchase, refund, renewal, or tax terms will be shown before a paid option becomes available.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, unsafe conduct by players, third-party services, or events outside its reasonable control.

You can delete your account from Account settings. Deletion removes personal account details while preserving shared games and hunts without those details where described in the Privacy notice. GeoLooker may update these terms as the service changes and will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

These terms are governed by Latvia, without overriding any mandatory consumer protection or right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction.
